Yesterday being Friday I prepared Asian Grilled Salmon with a marinade of Sesame oil, low sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, adn ginger. I fried inside in a frying pan. I had 4 fillets so I invited my Mother-in-law and friend. Also we had a salad(from garden) with all trimmings, our garden asparagus, macaroni salad, mixture of arborio & wild rice with crimini mushrooms. Honey Dew and Ice Cream for after dinner delights.

Tonight we go to the last of the years, Elks Pizza, Wings, and Chicken Tenders. Best price in Town and Best People On Earth(BPOE).

Grilling season is upon us although I grill all year round; doing chicken on the grill with fresh grilled asparagus and homemade peirogis from the farmer's market in Rochester. This type of grilling requires an ale in a chilled glass while manning the grill plus a glass of Riesling during dinner. I am up for the task.

Went to Rochester for a meeting so we ate late. Friend stopped over and said why don't you stay for supper. I told him it would be simple and that I would be grilling some 90% hamburgers, along with Zweigle whites, lettuce & asparagus from the garden, and baked beans. He didn't need anymore coaching to stay. He eats here often and a very close friend.

Just the wife and I tonight - unusual. Grilled some NY Strip Steaks from Palmer's with baked beans, penne pasta salad with cut up broccoli, carrots; corn, and insalada caprese.

Tomorrow I'm grilling a huge amount of pork ribs and many over to enjoy. We'll have macaroni salad, baked beans, asparagus from garden. Kids will more than likely want hamburgers and hot dogs.

We had soft and hard shell tacos last night for supper along with corn, potato puffs, mac salad.
Tonight we had bonelsss chicken thighs on the grill with mac salad, corn, pasta with cream sauce with chuck of chicken, carrots, and homegrown asparagus, and cole slaw. This is the last of our asparagus for this year. Been a great year here. We got the boneless chicken thighs at Aldi's for half price.

Yesterday we celebrate our grandson's first birthday with a nice party in our backyard. Weather was warm and stayed without rain. I prepared a host of different foods on our grills for over 20 people, and we had lots of sides. Incredible amount of food and desserts. Great time as usual.

Today went to the Cherry Festival in Varick, Seneca County and as always a great time. Got gas for the Nissan Xterra while down East for $2.19. Came home and cooked some Palmer's NY Strip Steaks on charcoal grill, along with baked beans, garden peas, Insalada Caprese, and Stuffed Green Peppers. Fruit medley for dessert.

The lovely and gracious Sherry is going to make a "steak salad" for this evening's dinner. Last even's meal was a fish fry at Shelly's in DeRuyter... good stuff! :)
